HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Resolutions: To do or not to do...That is the Question!

Heeeeelllllloooo! Happy New Year! It is that time again when everyone evaluates their life asking questions like...."how far have I come?"....".what is next?".."should i make a new years resolution or am I just going to fail...again?" lol.  Some stick with them and some don't.  I don't think I have ever been able to truly stay true to my resolution the whole way through and I want to change that.  Especially with being healthy.  If you know me, you know I like to throw down!  I like to cook, eat, take pictures of food, try new foods, share recipes, drink beer, champagne, wine, cocktails....you name it.  Just call me a connoisseur of culinary creations!  My best friend calls me hungry hungry hippo because I can talk about food all day long and always find the best places to eat when we travel! Also, I get mean and quiet when I am hungry (If you are a pinterest follower look up han-gry and you will know what i mean haha) and tend to have an attitude.  I probably should have a shirt that says, "BEWARE", when I have not eaten.

Pretty much I said all that to say that I want to do better and make healthier choices on a regular basis.  I understand that you have to have a cheat meal or day once in awhile and I know that healthy food can be good too but my weaknesses are cheese, bread, bread and more bread as well as a fried pork chop every once in awhile!  You know you have your guilty pleasures too!  But anyway...I am going to focus on eating healthy and being consistent with working out.  I decided to jump start this with herbal life for about a month and move on to have the 5-6 small meals a day thing.  I will also be doing insanity for the full two months.  I am going to do my best and I think writing about my frustrations, mishaps and successes along the way will help me have an outlet to release the feelings I have about this journey.

Hope you stick with me and help me stay ACCOUNTABLE for my actions!  I also wanted this journey in the public eye so I have to pretty much stick with it, otherwise if I don't yall will ALL know I failed once again and will be on and off again for another year BUT I really don't want to go back down that road so welcome to WyMichelle's 2012.
