Day 10 ~ Feeling Good, Feeling Great

Hey yall!!!!

Today has been a goooooooooooooooooooooood day!  Long but good.  I have had more energy these last few days and I am extra happy about that!  It is showing me that if you really stick with something that it can work and pay off!  I keep telling myself every day that it will be worth it!  I worked out to the Cardio Plyometric dvd today from Insanity and it wore me out.  I got through it better than last week which was good and made me push harder.  Honestly, after that work out I got in the shower, put on some pajamas and I laid in my bed for atleast 30 minutes!  I couldn't move and didn't want to do anything lol!  I bet I will sleep good tonight.  How is your workout plan going?  Let me know by leaving a comment.  I really like to hear what other people are doing with their meals and workouts.  I am excited for when I can get back into the gym and do strength training with weights...that has always been my favorite area in the fitness world!

Today's menu included one shake for breakfast, almond butter and a banana for a snack, a green tea with two honey's from Starbucks, lots and lots of water, Turkey chili for lunch with a side of kiwi and a small v8, then for dinner I made a salad and had some smoked salmon with it. What did you eat today???? It is always good to try new things so keep me updated!


I had a few things I wanted to share with you all.

I think I may implement this in the morning or at night.  I am not sure yet but I just want my results to come and sometimes I want to add a few things in with my Insanity workout but I also don't want to over do it.  If you have any good advice for this please let me know.  I was on twitter today and follow Jeanette Jenkins and here is a tip for sexy abs...I bet if you did this each day or did as many you could do...you would start seeing a lot of improvement in toning those areas.

Also, I had mentioned a roasted garlic broccoli recipe that makes broccoli taste SOOOOOOOOOO good.  Give it a try.  Here are a few pictures.

Here are some of the snacks I packed last night to take to work.  Preparing the night before is wonderful!  It lets you get out the house quicker and if you are late things are already ready for you so you won't fall into the trap of having to buy or eat fast food or something not conducive to your health goals.


I have a V8, Chobani GreekYogurt and fresh blueberries to add on it, kiwi and grapefruit.  Some things like almond butter and bananas I leave at work so I am not packing so many things back and forth.

Under helpful websites, I added another website I found on pinterest that seemed beneficial. MORE YUMMY RECIPES!!!!!!!!
