Day 17: "Find the TIME"

Hey yall!!!!

Today has been cool, glad work went by fast!  Hope you had a great day as well!  I wanted to share something with you all today.  You CAN find the time to get a workout in each day or more often.  From doing squats, jumping jacks, walk the stairs, or watching zumba for 10 minutes on you tube during your break or lunch time at work or school.  Just some type of activity can be done and is beneficial to your health and progress!!!

I was at work today and worked out with the coach for about 15 minutes today out of my plan time.  We did a couple Zumba videos for cardio and abs and I used some of her equipment for strength training.  I did that and still did my Insanity tonight!!! I am going to incorporate this in atleast 3 days out the week while I am at work.  I really had fun doing it!!!  So stop saying you don't have time, find the TIME!!!!

Doing pull ups!

TODAYS MENU:

Breakfast: A piece of turkey bacon, half of an English muffin and two boiled eggs
Snack: Blood orange and honey tangerine
Lunch:Turkey spaghetti and v8
Snack: Tuna, multi-seed crackers, and small portion fat free herb and garlic cheese
Dinner: My Version of a Healthy Cobb Salad with Balsamic vinaigrette.  And did I mention the dressing is only 15 calories for 2 tablespoons and really tastes good!!!

The salad I made was pretty huge so I decided to take half of it to work tomorrow.

Ingredients:

Romaine Lettuce
Spinach leaves
1 boiled egg, sliced
Fat Free Feta cheese (less than 1/4 cup)
Balsamic Vinaigrette (2 Tablespoons)
2 Slices of turkey bacon, chopped or broken in pieces
Half of an avocado, chopped
3 broccoli florets, chopped
slivered almonds, a pinch or two
fresh cracked pepper

It was delicious.  All you have to do is chop your romaine and spinach and top with the toppings!  Quick, easy and yummy!  Try it today!  Mix and match veggies and change it up to your taste!

Until next time folks!  Live love and laugh!!!! Life is a gift, enjoy it!
