Soooooooooo I did my best to stay positive this morning. I got up made my vanilla shake and added frozen strawberries. It was good but it wasn't bacon lol! But really it was good. I was running late and everything so I'm pretty proud of myself that I didn't just go without breakfast or pick up a sausage biscuit from Starbucks.............however I did stop at the wonderful Starbucks for a green tea with honey!
I was so tired at work today since it was our first day back (without students). I could barely keep my eyes open man so I just did my work, got some lessons planned, day dreamed for a second over the pork chops, mac and cheese, greens, etc (don't judge me) I made for New Year's Day lol. You would of too if you tasted it, i can assure you that.
My first temptation today was cupcakes and fruit dip at a co-workers baby shower at work today. I passed on the sugar and ate a fruit kabob! GOOOOOOOOOOO ME! I felt proud!
Temptation #2 - Went to Market Street for lunch! They have everything. I love to get my wine and gourmet cheeses from there. So delicious...anyway I'm getting off track. I chose fruit, salad with a little grilled chicken on it and water. I even made salad dressing with just balsamic vinegar and olive oil instead of using dressing. I even put salad on fork and lightly dipped my salad so I wasn't drowing all the good healthy greens in fat and calories. Now dressing is okay in moderation I am just trying to be strict on myself for the first month.
Temptation #3- My bf eating leftovers. Maaaaaaaaaaaaan, it smelled so good but I did not even take a bite!!!! Woohoo!
I tackled the Fit Test for INSANITY today! If you have not done it or seen it, please take a look on youtube or something. It is not a game! NOT AT ALL! I had to pump myself up for a few minutes before I got started. It's mentally and physically draining but if I want results I need to man up and go for it!!!! "Sweat is your fat crying" is a phrase I found on pinterest and I love it! Until next time folks!!! I will probably post every other day or so to stay current!
