Day 12: "Keeping at it and Getting Results"

Hey hey hey!  It's Friday yall! 

I am so happy for the three day weekend that is finally here!  I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow and on Monday!!!!

So today's post won't be that long, I am celebrating Founder's Day with my sorority sisters this evening and the good part about it is we are planning to have healthy snacks at another sorority sisters house.  I knew I was going to partake in the regular pizza and wings lol but it worked out that they are being healthy too so I don't have to be tempted.  So like I said, support is VERY important during this process.  I know it has been beneficial to have me make it this far....2 WEEKS!!!!! I have my workout tonight before I hang out so I am praying my hair doesn't do too bad so I can look presentable lol!

MINI SUCCESS

I have lost about 4.5 pounds this week (Yes, I round up sometimes lol so lets just say 5).  I am very excited about that.  The workouts have been intense and I have been strict with my meals.

Also, not slipping up yesterday and eating pizza during Math Night was an internal success for me.  I didn't even take a bite!  I can't believe I really did that.........And why out of all days of this entire school year did the cafeteria pizza look extra yummy lol but I ate my Spicy Tuna Melt today and it was good.  I have pictures today.

SOMETHING NEW I TRIED

I tried cottage cheese today!  I literally had a stare down with it for about an hour.  It was siting on my desk and kept having a gross feeling and almost gagged lol!  I finally tried it with peaches and it was okay.  I don't necessarily like the curdles but maybe I can try a few more times and it will grown on me.  Guess wel'll see and you'll be first to know!!!

It is FRIDAY and for many people that means happy hour!  You have sweat the week away with intense workouts and clean-eating and you want to reward yourself but not feel too guilty!  Well, if that is not you, it certainly is me lol and I would like to partake in a nice drink this week.  That is what I save my calories and hard work for lol, not a juicy burger (maybe oneday though but haven't had the urge for that yet) but a nice, chilled glass of wine!! So I decided I may not be the only one in the predicament so here is some help for you.

I have been reading a new website I am excited to share with you all tomorrow.  It was about how to buy the right fruits for the season because usually cheaper and taste better and how to shop healthy on a BUDGET!!!!
